第七屆水環境科學研究高校聯盟 (The 7th University Consortium on Aquatic Sciences, UCAS) 由香港大學太古海洋科學研究所、廈門大學、海洋大學三校研究生，聯合舉辦之研討會，本年度由廈大主辦，於3 月9 日開幕，會議為期五天，以「水環境的研究、管理及永續發展(Understanding, management and sustainable use of aquatic ecosystem)」為主題，活動包含嘉賓演講、個人報告、分組辯論及生態導覽等活動，全程以英文交流，此次會議共50餘人參加，海大由陳義雄、呂建宏教授為隨行老師，帶領學生 16 位參加，食科系博士生林敬甄與研究生陳浩恩（指導老師:孫寶年講座教授）參與此次研討會，分別報告「Hepatoprotective effects of the residual meat of freshwater clam essence screened with a tilapia model」及 「The effects of deep-sea water culturing on texture of Orbicular batfish」
