摘 要: This study use chitosan and honey (H) in membrane and then investigate its properties. A hydrogel sheet composed of chitosan, honey and gelatin (HS; chitosan:0.5, honey:20, gelatin:20, wt%) was developed as a burn wound dressing. HS showed powerful antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli, significantly superior to that of chitosan and honey used separately. A series of toxicological evaluations demonstrate that HS is not toxic and not irritant to skin and body. The animal burn wound healing results showed that HS had a significant effect on wound contraction with the shortest treatment duration of 12 days. Because honey sheet represents an attractive formulation with unique medicinal and wound healing advantages, preparing sheets with high honey concentration increases the antibacterial and wound healing effects. Chitosan and honey cospun with polyvinyl alcohol (P) fabricat the sheets with honey up to 40% and chitosan up to 5.5% of the total weight of the fibers. The new HP–chitosan sheets showed pronounced antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus, and no cytotoxicity effects on cultured fibroblasts. In the end, hydrogel film composed of chitosan and honey was developed using two different solvents namely acetic acid and lactic acid. The hydrogel film formation was effective in case of Chitosan - Lactic acid (1%) – Honey (6%) (CLH6), which also showed significant results in water absorption and satisfied the strength and elongation requirements of a wound dressing. The film also has higher inhibition against Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli than acetic acid film.
