摘 要: Skin damage is one of the most common physical injury throughout human history. Designing new wound dressing materials has been an imperative issue. Hydrogel with high-water content and biocompatibility is considered as a promising candidate for practical application. By providing a porous structure and suitable swelling ratio, hydrogel matrix can absorb the exudates and maintain moist healing environment to promote wound healing. The hydrogels, composed of chitosan and Pluronic F127, loaded with curcumin was investigated in this study on its antibacterial property, biocompatibility, and efficacy as wound dressing. The hydrogels were pronounced against wide range of bacteria. The cell viability showed low cytotoxicity, which presents the excellent compatibility of hydrogels. The skin defected model evidenced the goodnwound healing efficacy of the hydrogels. Briefly, the results demonstrating that the curcumin-loading chitosan-Pluronic F127 hydrogels have great potential to be applied as wound dressing.
