探討碳酸飲料及甜菜根汁補充品對高強度間歇訓練之效益

摘  要: This report aims to explore the effects of food supplements on muscle strength,soreness and physical performance after HIIT. Wang et al. (2019) randomly assigned20 subjects to either carbonated drink group (HCO3-, SB) or placebo group (PL). Both groups completed 6 weeks (3 days/week) of HIIT with SB ingesting orange flavored solution containing 15 g xylitol and 0.2 g HCO3 -/kg body mass during each training day, and PL ingesting a similar beverage (HCO3-free). This study separated 6 weeks of training into 2 stages with different training intensities, first 3 weeks at a lower intensity than second 3 weeks. Serum HCO3 - were obtained 5 min before and 30 min after HIIT training sessions for 3 times in 6-week training sessions. Three 30 s Wingate tests (WAnT) were conducted before, middle, and after training. The supplementation interventions, with peak power, mean power, and fatigue index obtain during WAnT while blood lactate and heart rate obtained after WAnT. The supplement of drinks containing HCO3 − drinks (0.2 g/kg body mass) before HIIT training enhances the effect of HIIT on anaerobic performance, improves the blood lactate clearance rate and the blood lactate clearance velocity following anaerobic exercise. Clifford et al. (2016) randomly assigned 20 subjects to either beetroot juice group (BTJ) or placebo group (PLA). Participants consumed 2 bottles (250 mL per bottle) of their assigned treatment (BTJ or PLA) for 3 days after an initial repeated sprint (RST1) and after a second repeated sprint (RST2) which was performed 72 h later. Maximal isometric voluntary contractions (MVIC), countermovement jumps (CMJ), reactive strength index (RI), pressure-pain threshold (PPT), creatine kinase (CK), C-reactive protein (hs-CRP), protein carbonyls (PC), lipid hydroperoxides (LOOH) and the ascorbyl free radical (A •-)were measured before, after, and at set times between RST1 and RST2. The results showed that ingest BTJ attenuated muscle pain and decreased in dynamic muscle function. In conclusion, supplementing HCO3 - before HIIT or supplementing BTJ after HIIT can relieve muscle soreness and enhance muscle recovery.
