本次講座特別邀請到韓國國立慶北大學化學系教授兼質譜融合研究中心主任以及目前擔任韓國質譜學會理事長的金城煥博士 (Prof. Sunghwan Kim) 擔任主講人。金教授取得美國俄亥俄州立大學化學博士學位，曾任職於美國國家高磁場實驗室 (NHMFL) 及韓國基礎科學研究所 (KBSI)，是國際高解析度質譜技術、非目標物篩檢與環境質譜領域的頂尖權威專家。金教授的學術成就斐然，發表超過160篇國際權威期刊論文，研究長期聚焦於微塑膠光降解產物、工業與船舶廢水、受污染沿岸沉積物以及大氣懸浮微粒等複雜混合污染物的分子層級解析。在本次演講中，金教授將發表「環境代謝體學 (Envirometabolomics)」整合架構，向大家展示如何透過精密的化學匹配採樣與生物代謝圖譜，成功打破傳統「僅檢測污染物」的侷限，精準連結環境化學暴露與生物體內的代謝擾動與有害效應，為生態風險評估與環境保護帶來突破性的科學視野。

We are honored to invite Dr. Sunghwan Kim, Professor of Chemistry and Director of the Mass Spectrometry Convergence Research Center at Kyungpook National University and President of Korea Society of Mass Spectrometry (KSMS), as our distinguished guest speaker. Dr. Kim received his Ph.D. in Chemistry from The Ohio State University and subsequently conducted advanced research at the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory (NHMFL) and the Korea Basic Science Institute (KBSI). Recognized as a global authority in ultrahigh-resolution mass spectrometry (FT-ICR MS), non-target screening (NTS), and environmental analytical chemistry, Dr. Kim has authored over 160 peer-reviewed publications investigating the molecular-level fate of microplastic leachates, wastewater contaminants, marine shipyard effluents, and atmospheric particulate matter. In this lecture, Dr. Kim will present his groundbreaking "Envirometabolomics" framework, illustrating how integrating matched environmental sampling, high-resolution chemical screening, and organismal metabolomic profiling bridges the critical gap between external chemical exposure and biological outcome—offering novel, evidence-based tools for global ecosystem protection and ecological risk assessment.
